What is Geothermal:
During the winter months the geo exchange system takes the heat from the ground & transfers it to the structure. It brings the coolness from the structure & banks that energy into the ground.
During the summer months the geo exchange system takes the coolness from the ground & transfers it to the structure. It brings the heat from the structure & banks that energy into the ground.
The loops are filled with a food grade antifreeze or water with inhibitors. This fluid circulates through the buried loops at 3-3.5 GPM to ensure proper heat transfer.
