THEFT ARRESTS: Two Charged With Robbery | Crime

Two Marshalltown men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery from spring last year.

On April 27th, $1000 was stolen at gun point from Check into Cash. Investigators were able to recover items that linked the two recently apprehended suspects.

23-year-old Russell Gentry Jr. and 18 year old Bernard Brooks have been charged with 1st degree robbery, going armed with intent and 2nd degree theft. The first charge is a Class B felony that is punishable by up to 25 years in prison. The latter two are Class D felonies.

Gentry Jr. is being kept at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility and Brooks is being held at the Marshall County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
