ARSON CASE: Not Guilty Plea Entered | News
A Marshalltown man facing arson charges has pleaded not guilty.
Twenty-six-year-old Andrew Burke was arrested in February. Marshalltown Police say Burke started a fire that destroyed a historic downtown building. He is also charged with starting a garage fire.
Burke is charged with one count of 1st degree arson and one count of 2nd degree arson.
His not guilty plea was entered Monday.
Burke is still being held in the Marshall County Jail on a bond of $25,000.
