METAL BURGLARY: Marshalltown Man Arrested | News

A Marshalltown man has been arrested for allegedly stealing metal from a business.

Marshalltown police say the burglary happened January 11^th at TIG Distributing at 610 S 12 Avenue. Police responded to an alarm at the business and when they arrived they found two suspects. One was able to flee from the scene but police were able to take 42-year-old Todd Fisher into custody. He has been charged with third degree burglary and possession of burglar’s tools.

Police say it appears Fisher and the other burglar were cutting and removing metal from inside TIG Distributing.

Fisher has already had his initial appearance and posted bond.
