The DNR is urging Iowa drivers to be cautious as breeding season for whitetail deer is quickly approaching. The deer become more active during breeding and with the removal of standing crops they will be on the move to wooded or brushy areas.

Iowa Speedway and NASCAR Plant 70 Trees in Garwin

NASCAR Green donated trees to the town of Garwin, Iowa; 15 miles from Marshalltown, to replace landscaping that had been damaged by the storm. Members of the Iowa Speedway and NASCAR helped plant 70 trees and the rest were given to residents of the town.
